Responsibilities
View English and Inuktitut version
Responsible for safekeeping, nutrition and health of the toddlers & infants. Lead and facilitate daily Inuttitut Immersion teaching for Infants and families. Prepare, Supervise and participate in activities which enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of toddlers and infants in the Language Nest. Provide a positive, fun and enthusiastic environment for toddler, infants and parents. Training as required
Qualifications
Early Childhood Education Diploma or Certificate, Preschool Orientation Course and one-year experience working with pre-school children, or minimum of 1-year experience in child care setting. Experience in teaching Inuttitut. Certificate of Good Conduct from the RCMP. First Aid Certificate
Assets
Bilingual in Inuktitut and English
Benefits
4% vacation pay.
