Responsibilities
Tasks
Explain procedures Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners Position patients Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals materials to patients or to biological samples Wear radiation detection equipment to acquire data for use by nuclear medicine physicians in the diagnosis of disease Record and process results of procedures Explain procedures and side effects of radiation Record and process patient data Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the examination

Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists Certification by a provincial or territorial association
