Registered Dental Hygienist Practice: Dentistry on Lawrence Location: Kitchener Website: https://kitchenerdentistry.ca/ Role Type: Part-Time Role Hours: Monday, 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Job Overview Dentistry on Lawrence is a family-friendly, patient-centered, modern dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are seeking a caring, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, educating patients, and building lasting relationships that support long-term oral health. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including assessments, scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants. Perform periodontal evaluations and document findings accurately. Take digital radiographs according to practice protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment plans. Maintain strict infection control and sterilization procedures (IPAC compliance). Collaborate closely with dentists and the clinical team to support optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts using Tracker. Ensure operatory cleanliness, organization, and readiness for each patient. Contribute to a positive and supportive patient experience at every visit. Qualifications Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO). Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program. Current CPR/BLS certification (required). Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive care. Experience with digital radiography and hygiene-specific tools. Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix, Tracker, Abeldent, Paradigm, Cleardent, or similar (asset). Excellent communication and patient education skills. Strong attention to detail, clinical accuracy, and infection-control compliance. Positive, compassionate, and team-oriented approach. Practice Snapshot Practice Name: Dentistry on Lawrence Location: Kitchener, Ontario Operatories Total Operatories: 8 Hygiene Operatories: 3 Dentist (DDS) Operatories: 5 Clinical Team Structure Number of Hygienists per Day: Monday: 3 Tuesday: 3 Wednesday: 3 Thursday: 3 Friday: 2, every other Friday 3 Specialty Services Offered: Sedation dentistry offered one day per month Office Environment & Culture We are a friendly and supportive dental office with a positive, collaborative atmosphere. Our team works closely together to ensure every patient receives an exceptional and welcoming experience. Compensation • Pay Range: $51.00–$55.00 per hour • Compensation is commensurate with experience and skills, with eligibility for performance based incentive opportunities.
