Job Description: Reporting to the EMS Manager the Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP) Licenses Valid Class 4 driver's license Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS) International Trauma Life Support Advanced Certificate (ITLS) Other Education and Training Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Knowledge and Abilities Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Other Information Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at ACP/EMT-P Standard Hours For more information on the city of Estevan please visit http://estevan.ca/ May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives
