Overview:
Crown Diamond Wellness Center is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic committed to providing high-quality care for patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and other physical conditions. We offer a full range of services including physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, occupational therapy, kinesiology, and acupuncture. We work with ICBC, WorkSafeBC, and extended health providers through direct billing.
Position Summary: We are seeking a professional, organized, and compassionate Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The MOA will be the first point of contact for patients and play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and manage front desk reception duties
- Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple practitioners
- Manage phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Perform billing and direct submissions to ICBC, WorkSafeBC, and extended health insurers
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Coordinate treatment plans and documentation with clinicians
- Support daily clinic operations and assist with general administrative tasks
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies and privacy regulations
Qualifications:
- Medical Office Assistant certificate or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems (Jane App experience is an asset)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Multilingual skills considered an asset
