Our client is seeking Senior Test Leads to join the Cancer Screening Project, supporting the development and implementation of secure, cloud-native healthcare integration solutions. This role will lead end-to-end testing strategy, API validation, automation, and healthcare system integrations while ensuring compliance with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 FHIR and SMART on FHIR. Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting for complex healthcare integration projects. Design and execute end-to-end API and integration testing across enterprise systems, Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and external vendors. Validate HL7 FHIR resources and API payloads against implementation guides using Simplifier. Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and Playwright. Perform API testing using Postman and vRest to validate secure healthcare data exchange. Coordinate testing for AWS cloud-based messaging services, including AWS Pinpoint and AWS End User Messaging. Manage test environments, test data, defect tracking, and requirements traceability. Collaborate with business, development, and external integration partners throughout the testing lifecycle. Produce test plans, execution reports, quality metrics, and final test summary reports. Lead testing activities within Agile delivery teams and provide guidance to stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications

Senior Test Lead experience on complex enterprise or public sector projects. Experience testing healthcare integrations using HL7 FHIR, SMART on FHIR, HL7 v2, and HL7 v3. Ability to interpret FHIR implementation guides using Simplifier. Strong hands-on experience with API testing using Postman and vRest. Experience building automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright. Experience testing clinical applications and healthcare systems. Experience integrating with Hospital Information Systems (HIS), preferably EPIC. Experience with eReferral solutions such as Ocean, Novari, or similar platforms. Experience validating cloud-based solutions using AWS, including AWS Pinpoint and AWS End User Messaging. Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability, identity management, and secure API integrations. Experience leading test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting. Public sector experience is required.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience with ONC Inferno or AEGIS Touchstone for FHIR conformance testing. Experience using Synthea for synthetic healthcare data generation. Experience testing FHIR Bulk Data ($export) and NDJSON APIs. Knowledge of Chaos Engineering and AWS Fault Injection Simulator (FIS). Experience testing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, and SMART on FHIR authentication flows. Experience integrating accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) testing using axe-core with Playwright or Selenium. Experience with consumer-driven contract testing using Pact. Familiarity with provincial healthcare interoperability frameworks and digital health initiatives. Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments with CI/CD-enabled test automation.
