About the role
At Red Leaf Wellness, naturopathic medicine is one of the four pillars our practice is built on, and we're expanding the team that delivers it.
The team you'd be joining Naturopathic medicine stands as a full clinical discipline here, alongside NP-led primary and specialty care, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and mind-body medicine. You'll own your caseload: whole-person assessment, individualized treatment planning, and follow-up for patients navigating menopause, perimenopause, andropause, and the full breadth of hormonal health. When a patient needs prescribing support or medical co-management, our Nurse Practitioner team and Medical Director, a physician with national clinical expertise, are one message away. Referrals flow in both directions; your discipline is part of the plan from the start, not a last resort.
Who we're looking for An ND with focused experience in hormone health and women's health. Advanced menopause training (MSCP or other recognized specialty training) is a strong asset. You know where naturopathic medicine delivers the most for hormonal health patients, and you want a practice that treats that expertise as central. An Alberta ND license is required. Licensure in other provinces is a bonus, as our telehealth patient base continues to grow.
This is a remote telehealth position. Edmonton-based practitioners also have the option of in-clinic days at our physical location.
How we work Our ethos is simple: clinicians do what they do best, and we handle the rest. Patient communication, pharmacy and lab follow-up, scheduling, and day-to-day troubleshooting are managed by your support team, so your attention stays on the patient in front of you. Modern EHR, integrated telehealth, online scheduling, and standardized ordersets are already in place, and our in-house IT development team continuously customizes the clinical environment around how our providers actually work. Strong technical skills are mandatory; our clinicians work across digital tools every day.
What we offer A core clinical role within an established, growing hormone health program Warm referrals from a busy multidisciplinary practice A dedicated support team handling administration, so your time goes to clinical care Flexible scheduling: days, evenings, and weekends available Corporate services, marketing, and web presence handled for you Independent contractor structure (must clearly meet the CRA definition of an independent contractor)
Requirements Active ND license and registration in good standing in Alberta (other provinces a bonus) Graduate of an accredited naturopathic medical program (CNME-accredited) Focused experience in hormone health, menopause, and women's health Advanced menopause or hormone health specialty training (MSCP or equivalent) an asset Strong technical proficiency across EHR, telehealth, and digital tools Current CPR certification and malpractice insurance
To apply, send your resume and a short cover letter. We look forward to meeting you.

Acupuncturists, naturopathic doctors, nurse practitioners, massage therapists, and manual osteopaths practice as one coordinated team, building care plans that address root causes, not just symptoms.
Our services include NP-led primary care, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, naturopathic and functional medicine, massage therapy, manual osteopathy, and the Restore+ Hormone Health Program for perimenopause, menopause, and andropause. Patients are seen in clinic in Edmonton or via telehealth across Canada where we operate, with no referral required.
Our clinical focus areas include women's health (perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, endometriosis, PMDD), chronic pain, digestive health, emotional wellness, fertility, and PTSD, with programs that pair Eastern modalities and modern diagnostics in one plan.
Now in our second decade of practice, we are LegitScript certified, and every discipline we offer is delivered by regulated health professionals in good standing with their respective Alberta colleges.
We are committed to accessible care for senior citizens, 2SLGBTQI+, First Nations, and other underserved communities.
For clinicians: we're a paperless, tech-forward clinic built for collaborative practice, with mentorship, an employee education assistance program, and genuine cross-disciplinary casework. If integrative care is where you want to practice, we'd like to hear from you.
