Job Description: The Primary Care Nurse, AAP provides nursing services to clients in communities without hospitals or resident physicians but where physicians work within agreements with the employer to provide medical services on a regular, visiting basis. The RN, AAP provides a broad range of health care services for the client and the community. The RN, AAP is responsible for the overall leadership of nursing services.

Experience
- Two (2) years nursing experience
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- International Trauma Life Support Advanced Certificate (ITLS)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to communicate with and deal effectively with clients and their families
- Knowledge of diverse health issues, culture and traditions
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to engage in community program consultation.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

- Registered/Eligible for registration with CRNS as an RN(AAP)
