As a Field Access Manager, you will play a critical role in helping patients gain timely access to innovative healthcare therapies by supporting healthcare providers with reimbursement, coverage, and patient assistance solutions. This field-based position combines strategic relationship management, reimbursement expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to improve patient outcomes and customer experience. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, office staff, payer stakeholders, and internal teams to navigate complex access challenges and support treatment continuity. Accountabilities: Partner with healthcare provider offices, support staff, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate appropriate patient access to therapies. Serve as a subject matter expert on reimbursement processes, patient assistance programs, payer requirements, financial assistance options, and access-related solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare stakeholders to support access initiatives and educational efforts. Develop and execute territory-specific business plans aligned with broader market access and brand strategies. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of regional and national reimbursement landscapes, including payer policies and utilization management requirements. Provide education and training to healthcare professionals and office staff regarding reimbursement resources, support programs, and access tools. Collaborate with sales, market access, and account management teams to address reimbursement challenges and identify solutions for patient access barriers. Deliver presentations, training sessions, and educational programs related to reimbursement and patient support services. Conduct territory planning and joint field activities to ensure alignment on customer objectives and access priorities. Monitor and communicate reimbursement trends, payer changes, and access-related issues to relevant internal stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in reimbursement, patient access, market access, or related healthcare support functions. Prior experience working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare organizations in a reimbursement-focused role. Strong understanding of public and private payer systems, reimbursement processes, benefit verification, prior authorization, and patient access pathways. Knowledge of patient affordability challenges and access considerations from both provider and patient perspectives. Experience delivering presentations, educational programs, or training sessions to healthcare audiences. Strong project management, organizational, and territory management skills. Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building capabilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Valid driver's license and ability to maintain driving eligibility in accordance with company standards. Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel, with an estimated travel requirement of 50–70%.
