Position Summary:

We are actively looking for Registered Nurses, with a special emphasis on the following locations:

  • Timmins, ON

We are seeking for Registered Nurses in a consultant capacity to assist with assessments of our clients' personal care needs and provide nursing treatment.

Experience in the Motor Vehicle Accident industry is an asset; however, training will be provided. You will be responsible for working with our Accident Benefits team and our clients to assess their attendant care and rehabilitation needs

Responsibilities:

  • Attendant Care Assessments and Reports
  • Hospital Discharge Assessments and Reports
  • Registered Nursing
  • Safety Assessments
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written) and good judgement when relating to patients, families, co-workers and interdisciplinary teams
  • Collaborating with other registered health professionals as required.
  • Responsible for the timely release of completed reports.
  • Engages in ethical conduct and strives to understand and appreciate the diversity of our patient/staff population and community.
  • Excellent work performance and attendance record.
  • Strong reporting and notes; and
  • Other responsibilities as required

Experience:

  • Professional experience working with MVA clients is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of nursing

Education and Certifications:

  • BScN, or RN designation from a Canadian Institution.
  • Registration and good standing with the CNO (Required)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • High level of verbal and written communication, problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload

Licence/Certification:

  • Registered Nurse (BScN) or (RN) License (required)

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
