Role Summary: The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of customer shipments, ensuring orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. In addition, the position supports order fulfillment through shipment processing, documentation, carrier coordination, and accurate system record maintenance.

Role Responsibilities: Processes, prepares, and coordinates domestic and international customer shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Prepares shipping documentation, including labels, packing slips, commercial invoices, and export documentation. Coordinates shipment pickups and deliveries with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. Prepares, packs, and stages products for shipment in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements. Maintains accurate shipping, tracking, and order fulfillment records in ERP and other internal systems. Monitors shipment status and provides timely updates on shipment activities and delivery exceptions. Supports compliance with applicable regulatory, quality, and export requirements, including FDA and ISO 13485 standards. Works closely with the Logistics Specialist to support efficient order fulfillment. Assists with inventory movements, material transfers, and related shipping transactions as required. Collaborates with cross-functional teams as required. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of shipping records and inventory transactions. Considers quality in all aspects of the job and respects procedures and norms. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant logistics, supply chain, or transportation certifications are considered an asset. 2-3 years of related experience in logistics. Experience in a regulated environment, such as medical device manufacturing, is preferred. Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments. Experience working with ERP systems and maintaining accurate transaction records. Experience preparing shipping and export documentation.

Skills & Knowledge: Knowledge of ISO 13485 requirements related to shipping and distribution is an asset. Familiarity with customs, import/export processes, and international shipping requirements is an asset. Strong understanding of shipping and fulfillment processes, carrier operations, and customer delivery requirements. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, adaptable, and customer focused. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in ERP systems.

Other Requirements: Primarily warehouse related requirements with exposure to production work rooms and office environment when required. Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and bending.

Compensation: The target salary range for this position is $48,000 - $55,000 per annum. The salary range reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus or benefits. The position is also eligible for a bonus.

The starting salary offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, job-related skills and relevant education and/or training.
