HomeTeam Medical Services, in Victoria BC, is recruiting a full-time or part-time family physician to join our team working in a unique interdisciplinary environment. This job offers flexibility, mentorship, and the ability to take time with each patient to provide the highest quality of care.
HomeTeam Medical Services, led by Dr. Ted Rosenberg, has been providing unique home-based interdisciplinary primary care for seniors in the Greater Victoria area since 2003. Join an integrated team of 4 physicians, 3 nurses, 3 physiotherapists, and 1 rehabilitation assistant.
We are responsive, and pride ourselves on providing the best possible care for our patients, as well as support for their family caregivers. Our goals are to improve seniors’ quality of life, maximize function, prevent transfers to hospital or moves to nursing homes, and to reduce caregiver stress. Our model of care has shown to reduce hospitalization by 39% and half our patients die at home with our support. We pride ourselves on innovation.
Our practice does not involve any long-term care/nursing home work. Our patients live in the community in their own homes, retirement homes and assisted living facilities. They exist along the spectrum of health from independence and higher functioning to extreme frailty.

Daytime clinical hours - No evening, weekend, or statutory holiday clinical work No on-call shifts Flexible appointment scheduling; patients told a.m. or p.m. with no specific appointment times Locum coverage provided Continuing education No administrative or management duties
Full-time or part-time work is available.
This is a community-based position in the greater Victoria area including: Victoria, Oak Bay, Gordon Head, Saanich, Royal Oak, and Esquimalt.
MSP billing is via the LFP (Longitudinal Family Practice) model, with full-time billings on average of $350k per year.
Applicants must be currently located in the Greater Victoria Area, and licensed to practice as a physician in British Columbia.
