Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Home Care | Flexible Hours | Cobourg/Port Hope, ON

We offer flexible scheduling with 15-40 hours per week available, including part-time and full-time opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will provide essential non-medical care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home:
Assisting with personal care routines (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and daily routines) Supporting mobility, safe transfers, and fall prevention techniques Providing companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation Preparing simple, nutritious meals and snacks Completing light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment Offering medication reminders according to care plans Supporting clients with cognitive changes, including dementia care Assisting with errands or transportation when required
What We’re Looking For
PSW certificate and caregiving experience A valid driver’s license and vehicle Favourable professional references Clear Vulnerable Sector Ability to take the initiative Collaborative team player Passion for providing high-quality, relationship-based care
