NVIT anticipates the need for Term Instructors to teach within the Social Work Program in Burnaby, BC. Course deliveries will be face-to-face. The NVIT BSW degree program is the only Indigenous-centred BSW program in BC. NVIT invites application from qualified individuals.

SOCW 306 – Theory and Ideology of Social Work SOCW 402 – Social Work Field Practice II

Possess Master of Social Work Degree (MSW) Minimum of two years teaching experience at a college or university level. Experience in classroom teaching and learning practices with Indigenous adult learners. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Indigenous social work theory and practice. Strong team player with excellent human relation skills – faculty members are expected to contribute positively to the life of the school and community. Ability to develop strong connections to Indigenous social service agencies and communities. Applicants must be familiar with Moodle, Teams and Outlook operating platforms.
