Clinical Programs Coordinator – Student Position
About the role
About the Role Conserve Medical Technologies is hiring five students across Canada to support the delivery and development of its clinical education and medical-device programs. The primary responsibility is facilitating the Making Oxygen Therapy Visible™ course through live virtual sessions for nurses. Participants will book sessions through an online scheduling platform, and coordinators will manage their own availability and booking parameters. Hours may increase as course bookings and company programs grow.
Responsibilities ● Deliver live online Making Oxygen Therapy Visible™ training sessions. ● Prepare for sessions and maintain attendance and completion records. ● Manage personal availability through the online booking platform. ● Facilitate discussion, answer participant questions and support an engaging learning environment. ● Apply adult-learning and nursing-education principles. ● Support clinical implementation tools, workflows and educational resources. ● Capture and share participant feedback and co-design ideas to improve course delivery, device design and clinical implementation.
Required Qualifications ● Currently enrolled in a recognized Canadian post-secondary program. Students may be completing graduate studies, doctoral studies, a post-graduate certificate or another relevant program. ● Registered nurse in good standing with a Canadian nursing regulator. ● Comfortable facilitating online education for nurses. ● Able to interpret healthcare research and apply evidence-informed practice. ● Strong communication, organization and independent-working skills. ● Reliable internet access and a private location for online teaching.
Assets ● Experience with oxygen therapy, medical-surgical nursing, emergency, respiratory care, critical care, community or rural nursing. ● Experience as an educator, preceptor, mentor or clinical instructor. ● Experience with literature reviews, quality improvement, implementation science or patient safety. ● Interest in medical devices, healthcare innovation or environmental sustainability. ● Ability to deliver training in French.
Funding: This position is intended to be supported through Venture for Canada’s Internship Program, funded by the Government of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program. Participation is subject to student, employer and placement eligibility and final funding approval.
