Dr. Christina Sun is seeking a reliable, like-minded family physician for consistent one-day-per-week longitudinal coverage of her well-established Richmond primary care practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a stable, rewarding locum arrangement with potential to grow into a practice-share or full panel transition.
Practice type: Solo family practice within a collegial shared clinic space (two other experienced family physicians on site) Patient panel: Approximately 2,100 (with plan to downsize to 1,800), consisting of multigenerational community families, 60:40 female:male, with a younger adult (30–50) and sizeable pediatric population. English-language practice. Clinic hours: 4.5 days/week, 6 hours of direct patient care per day Coverage required: One day per week (consistent, long-term) starting in Fall/Winter 2026 Afterhours/on-call: None
A flat 25% overhead rate applies to all billings (MSP, WCB, ICBC, and private). This rate is set to cover actual clinic operating costs only; there is no profit markup. Remittance reports are provided and payment is issued promptly.
Dr. Sun has invested significantly in building a high-quality, rewarding practice. She is open to this locum arrangement evolving into a formal practice-share or, ultimately, a full panel transition for the right physician.
