Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing patient interactions, and maintaining pharmacy operations. Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and ordering supplies as needed
• Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision
• Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, medication logs, and patient interactions
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards within the pharmacy setting
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding medication instructions and safety precautions

Experience

• Previous pharmacy assistant experience is preferred
• Previous knowledge of kroll pharmacy software preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care
• Experience with medication administration processes is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is advantageous
