Role Description This part-time, remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor role focuses on providing high-quality, evidence-informed counseling services to clients through MantraCare’s digital platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering telehealth counseling sessions for a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship issues. The counselor will collaborate with other clinicians and care team members, participate in case reviews, and maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities include coordinating care with external providers when appropriate, supporting crisis intervention within established protocols, and contributing feedback to help refine MantraCare’s AI-driven tools and workflows. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management to design, implement, and monitor individualized care plans. Candidates should possess broad expertise in Mental Health and Psychology to assess, diagnose, and support clients across diverse clinical presentations. Candidates should possess skills in Relationship Counseling to address interpersonal, family, and workplace dynamics in a sensitive and effective manner. Active, unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (or equivalent, such as LPC, LMHC, or LCPC) in at least one jurisdiction where services will be delivered. Experience providing telehealth or remote counseling services, with comfort using digital health platforms and electronic health records. Strong communication, empathy, and cultural humility, with the ability to support people from varied backgrounds and identities. Familiarity with evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based approaches) and commitment to ethical, client-centered practice. Ability to work independently, manage a part-time caseload, and adhere to privacy, security, and compliance standards (such as HIPAA where applicable).
