Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality massage therapy services designed to promote healing, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate various techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.

Duties

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques like deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address clients? specific concerns.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, medical history, and treatment goals.
• Educate clients on pain management strategies, physiology, and anatomy relevant to their condition.
• Maintain detailed treatment records, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers within the clinic to optimize patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care.
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities related to occupational health and medical terminology.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Massage Therapist with relevant licensing or registration as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and applying advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology pertinent to massage therapy.
• Experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
• Ability to perform assessments that inform effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
