Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and patient education while ensuring comfort, safety, and a positive patient experience during visits. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
• Conduct patient assessments and record medical and dental histories
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Utilize dental software (e.g., AbelDent) for patient records and scheduling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment in accordance with safety and infection control protocols
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall patient experience

Experience & Qualifications

• A valid Dental Hygienist license through the CDHO is required
• Candidates without a valid CDHO licence will not be considered
• Familiarity with dental assisting practices is considered an asset
• Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
