Ardia Care Homes is currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in an on-call/casual position supporting residents in a warm and supportive care home environment.

Position Summary

The On-Call LPN will provide nursing care, medication administration, resident monitoring, and support to ensure the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents. This position is ideal for someone who is flexible, caring, and committed to providing high-quality senior care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document resident health status
• Communicate effectively with families, physicians, and care staff
• Respond to resident needs and emergencies
• Maintain accurate nursing records and reports
• Support residents with compassion and professionalism
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Qualifications

• Current LPN registration and good standing
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience in seniors care, dementia care, or assisted living preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for short-notice shifts
