About the role

For more than 20 years, Stenberg College has been preparing Registered Psychiatric Nurses to provide compassionate, evidence-informed care throughout British Columbia. We are seeking an experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to join our Regional Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (RDPN) Leadership Team as our Education Delivery Manager. This is an opportunity to shape psychiatric nursing education by leading faculty, strengthening curriculum, and preparing the next generation of Registered Psychiatric Nurses. 

  • Location: Remote within British Columbia, with occasional travel to Surrey and regional program sites. 

  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid 

  • Start Date: August 15, 2026 

  • Salary: Starting at $110,000k

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Faculty Leadership and Development: Recruit, orient, mentor, and support didactic faculty and teaching assistants. Coordinate faculty development, support instructional excellence, and contribute to faculty performance reviews and quality improvement initiatives. 

  • Curriculum Quality and Management: Collaborate with the Program Director to review, evaluate, and strengthen curriculum. Monitor alignment with BCCNM standards, program learning outcomes, and current psychiatric nursing practice while supporting curriculum mapping, course reviews, and ongoing improvements. 

  • Program Delivery: Support consistent, high-quality online course delivery by promoting effective teaching practices, monitoring student success and program outcomes, collecting faculty and student feedback, and identifying opportunities to enhance the educational experience. 

  • Learning Technologies and Innovation: Lead the effective use of Moodle and other educational technologies, support faculty in online course delivery, and explore innovative teaching strategies that strengthen student engagement and learning. 

  • Faculty and Administrative Management: Coordinate faculty schedules and teaching assignments, provide day-to-day leadership and coaching, support professional development, monitor instructional quality, and ensure compliance with institutional policies and academic standards. 

  • Student Success: Monitor student performance, oversee academic support and remedial learning plans, participate in student appeals, and work collaboratively with Student Services to support student progression and success. 

  • Quality Assurance and Graduate Outcomes: Monitor educational quality, student progression, graduate outcomes, and Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Canada Examination (RPNCE) performance. Support program review, accreditation and recognition activities, and use outcome data to inform continuous improvement. 

Qualifications: 

Required 

  • Current practicing registration in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN). Consideration may be given to a Registered Nurse (RN) with significant nursing experience within psychiatric settings. 

  • Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing, Education, Nursing, Leadership, or a related field. 

  • Extensive clinical experience in psychiatric and mental health nursing. 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in post-secondary education, healthcare education, or program management. 

  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, faculty leadership, educational quality assurance, and program evaluation. 

Preferred/An Asset 

  • Experience in online instructional design and online program delivery. 

  • Experience with Moodle or similar learning management systems (LMS). 

  • Experience analyzing educational outcomes, graduate outcomes, and regulatory examination performance. 

  • Experience with accreditation, recognition, or regulatory quality assurance and reporting processes. 

  • Experience supporting faculty development, educational innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Strong knowledge of innovative educational technologies and their application in the online classroom is an asset.
