Role Description This part-time remote Email Marketing Specialist role is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email campaigns that engage key audiences and promote Indigenous Energy Monitor’s insights and services. Day-to-day tasks include building and segmenting email lists, drafting and editing email content, setting up campaigns in email marketing software, and scheduling automated workflows. The specialist will track performance metrics, analyze campaign data, and recommend improvements to increase open rates, click-throughs, and lead generation. The role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to align email messaging with broader marketing initiatives and brand guidelines, while ensuring respectful and accurate representation of Indigenous perspectives.
Qualifications Proficiency in Email Marketing Software and Marketing Automation tools, with experience setting up campaigns, workflows, and audience segmentation. Strong Marketing Analytics skills to track performance, interpret data, and optimize campaigns for engagement and conversions. Lead Generation experience using email campaigns to build qualified contact lists and nurture prospects. Excellent Communication skills, including clear written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences. Understanding of or interest in Indigenous participation in energy and resource sectors, with sensitivity to cultural context and relationships. Experience in digital marketing, content creation for email, and basic CRM usage is an asset. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple campaigns, and meet deadlines. Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
