About the role

Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Child welfare. Socio-economic needs or conditions (housing, nutrition, unemployment, financial assistance). Work setting: Associations and non profit organizations. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services. Perform administrative tasks. Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community. Housekeeping activities. Food preparation. Provide suicide and crisis intervention. Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Manage knowledge. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). Emergency child care first aid and CPR. Mental health first aid Certificate. Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate. Cultural Awareness Training. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Food Safety Certificate. Target audience: Families. Females.
