Compensation and Benefits Competitive Wages: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Financial Security: RRSP program with corporate matching. Clinic and Caseload Overview Gold-Standard Medicine: Dedicated to compassionate care for cats and dogs, including preventative medicine, surgery, and advanced dentistry. Mentorship Culture: Structured mentorship opportunities, regular training, and knowledgeable colleagues with extensive experience to guide your professional growth. Vibrant Location: Situated in the Leslieville neighbourhood, our clinic offers easy access to downtown Toronto and is surrounded by local cafés, shops, and parks.
Applicant Requirements Education and Credentials: Graduate of an accredited Animal Health Technician / Veterinary Technician program, and in good standing with the provincial regulatory association. Board Certification: Must have successfully passed or be scheduled to pass the VTNE. Experience Level: Open to both experienced technicians and enthusiastic new graduates! Technical Skills: Strong proficiency or a proactive willingness to learn advanced dental procedures (scaling, radiographs, charting), anesthesia monitoring, and surgical support. Core Competencies: Ability to adapt to day-to-day challenges, strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, a client-focused mindset, and a passion for teamwork.
