Role Description This is a full-time/part-time, on-site Physiotherapy Assistant role based in Guelph, ON. The Physiotherapy Assistant will support physiotherapists in delivering patient-centered care by preparing treatment areas, assisting with exercise programs, and guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic activities. The Physiotherapy Assistant will collaborate with the clinical team, contribute to a positive and professional environment, and uphold MM Physio’s standards for high-quality, outcome-focused care. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation support, including assisting with therapeutic exercises and treatment implementation. Strong commitment to Patient Care and Quality Patient Care, with a focus on safety, respect, and clear communication. Familiarity or experience with Orthopedics, including common musculoskeletal conditions and functional movement patterns. Completion of a Physiotherapy Assistant, Rehabilitation Assistant, or related post-secondary program (or equivalent relevant experience). Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support patients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment, manage time efficiently, and follow clinical protocols accurately. Basic computer proficiency for documentation and scheduling; experience with clinic software is an asset. Current CPR/First Aid certification and eligibility to work in Canada; prior experience in a physiotherapy or rehabilitation setting is an advantage.
