Role Description This full-time, on-site Family Physician role is based in Vancouver, BC. The Family Physician will provide comprehensive primary care, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions for a diverse patient population. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. The physician will also provide preventive care, including screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to clinic protocols and regulatory standards. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and contribution to a collaborative team environment are also expected. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Primary Care and Family Medicine, with the ability to manage a broad range of patient needs across the lifespan. Clinical proficiency in Medicine and Urgent Care, including assessment and management of acute presentations in an outpatient setting. Experience or interest in Community Health, with a commitment to accessible, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered care. Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and completion of accredited family medicine residency training. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in British Columbia, and membership in relevant professional bodies. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Comfort with electronic medical records and adherence to privacy, safety, and quality standards. Experience or interest in preventive, wellness, or anti-aging medicine is an asset.
