To learn more about Good Shepherd, visit our website at <a href=""></a></span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">This opportunity is with our Good Shepherd – <strong>Assisted Living/Personal Support Services</strong></span></p><p><strong><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> How You Will Make an Impact</span></strong></p><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">The successful applicant will provide personal care and home support services to clients living independently in the community. </span></p><ul><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">To provide service in a person centered, dignified, culturally competent and respectful manner that reflects the charism of Good Shepherd and which reflects an integrated anti-racism/anti-oppression framework</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">To assist clients with routine activities of daily living and instrumental Activities of Daily Living such as;</span><ul><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">housekeeping and laundry</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Personal care including bathing and showering</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Toileting assistance including incontinence care</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Transfers according to the plan of care; supervised, one person assist, two- person assist and two-person mechanical lift according to the clients care plan, program policies and practices and within scope of Practice of a PSW</span></li></ul></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Supporting clients while attending external appointments including accompaniment</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Must be able to work across multiple locations within the city based on assigned schedule which may require walking up to 25 minutes from the hub location to the client's residence, walking up and down stairs in all seasons</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Monitoring the safety of the clients including;</span><ul><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Encourage clients to use all required assistive aids, mobility aids including walkers and canes</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Medication reminders and documentation</span></li><li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Responding to clients calls for assistance for unscheduled support 24 hours per day while on duty</span></li><li><span style="font-fa
