About the role
The Health Care Aide (HCA), is an essential member of Golden Home Caregivers Corp., reporting directly to the Case Manager. The HCA provides hands-on personal care and support to clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. The HCA monitors client conditions and ensures that any changes are promptly reported to the Case Manager. The role also involves administering medications according to policy while maintaining professional standards and respecting the dignity, privacy, and autonomy of each client.

Responsibilities
Help clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) Prepare meals and help with feeding if needed Provide companionship and emotional support Communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Keep accurate records of client care activities
Must Have
Active registration and practice permit as HCA are required. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Nice to have
Experience in a home care setting or related health care facility is an asset.
