Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Nutrition Services, you will be responsible for the safe transport and proper temperature control of food supplies, as well as the accurate assembly and timely delivery of meals and nourishment to patients, staff, and visitors.
Additional responsibilities includes washing tasks, which may involve operating a dishwashing machine, performing manual washing, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area.
Primary Responsibilities
Physically capable of meeting all job demands, including prolonged periods of physical activity Requires sustained physical effort (80%+ of shift), including lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy carts and equipment Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in institutional food services Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong commitment to exceptional customer service, with demonstrated experience Consistent record of excellent attendance and reliability Available to work all shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays
Mandatory Qualifications
Completion of a Secondary school diploma or equivalent Brant County Health Unit Food Handlers Certificate Health Care Food Service Program Certificate preferred
