Job Description: The Opportunity Beverly Hospital is seeking a collaborative General Surgeon to join an established, high-volume practice on Massachusetts' beautiful North Shore. Collaboration: Seamless peer access to tertiary and quaternary support via Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Infrastructure & Volume Surgical Footprint: 10 modern operating rooms on the main Beverly campus + 4 additional operating rooms at the nearby Danvers Ambulatory Surgery Center. Tech Stack: Fully integrated Epic EMR across all inpatient and outpatient environments; da Vinci robots, advanced laparoscopy and minimally invasive instrumentation. Support Structure: Robust team including dedicated surgical blocks, full-time Surgical Schedulers, specialized OR Billing Coordinators, and experienced Medical Assistants (MA II). Clinical Scope & Call Caseload: High-volume bread-and-butter general surgery, acute care surgery, and advanced minimally invasive procedures. Call Schedule: Equitable, structured rotation covering the Emergency Department and inpatient consults. Designed to maximize predictable time off. Quality Mandate: Active participation in network-wide quality improvement panels and local OR Executive Committee initiatives. Qualifications Education: MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine. Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency. Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in General Surgery. Credentials: Active (or eligible for) unrestricted Massachusetts medical licensure, MA controlled substance registration, and Federal DEA. Pay Range: $350,000.00 USD - $450,000.00 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
