Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS. Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Travel Required: No Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an assetEducation- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant educational degree program recognized by the Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada (PACCC)- Holds one of the following certifications: Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC or the Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
