About the role
Education: Master's degree. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Physician's office. Tasks: Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team. Coordinate patient care. Evaluate patient care and progress. Implement an interdisciplinary plan of care. Interpret medical test results . Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition. Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests. Perform diagnostic tests. Plan patient care. Advise patients on health care. Examine patients and take their medical histories and consult with physicians and other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health. Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Conduct patient interviews, physical assessments and take medical histories. Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases. Provide health maintenance education. Prepare a treatment plan for each patient. Work with minimal supervision. Examine patients to assess general physical condition. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial authority for midwives. Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by the province/territory of work. Security and safety: Criminal record check.
