TELUS Health Workplace Support Program offers the industry's earliest intervention into employee mental health and addictions issues that require a solution beyond short-term EAP support or as part of a disability case management treatment plan. The programs provide professional assessment and counselling to support an individual's return to healthy productivity. These clinical interventions address issues requiring longer-term, more specialized or more intensive levels of care in order to prevent or manage workplace performance problems, absence and disability. Summary: Reporting to the WSP team manager, you will be providing in-person and remote counselling services for TELUS Health Workplace Support Programs (WSP). Also, you will be providing mental health and substance use assessments, treatment recommendations and intervention. What You Bring ● Master’s Degree in Counselling or Social Work. ● Minimum of 5 years post-graduate clinical experience; ● Registration with Professional College or Association (BCACC, CCC or BCCSW) ● Strongly developed substance use, trauma, mental health assessment and diagnostic skills; ● Ability to adapt to clinical supervision; ● Ability to assess all types of psycho-social disorders and develop treatment plans; ● Ability to use or have knowledge of clinical assessment tools; ● Able to write clinical reports in a clear and concise manner; ● Experience and expertise with mandated clients; ● Basic knowledge of BC community resources and case management skills; ● Competency with computer skills, MS office ● Strongly developed documentation and reporting skills; ● Excellent time management skills; ● Ability to work in person / remotely and also collaborate in a team environment ● Past experience or familiarity with substance use assessments is a strong asset What TELUS Health can offer you: ● Comprehensive total rewards package highlighting competitive salary and minimum 4 weeks of vacation, and flexible benefits plan to meet the needs of you and your family ● Generous company matched pension ● Opportunity to give back to communities in which we work, live and serve ● Career growth and learning & development opportunities to develop your skills And much more … Job Posting Vacancy Type: This is for a current vacancy Expected annual base salary range for this role is: 58,100.00 - 107,900.00 CAD Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, experience and location.
