Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across various age groups.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
• Provide preventive care, including immunizations and health screenings.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Participate in research initiatives to improve patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge.
• Stay current with advancements in family medicine and medical terminology.

Experience

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Family Medicine is preferred.
• Experience in a medical office or hospital setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with home care practices is a plus.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner or Epic.
• Strong understanding of acute care practices and pediatrics is beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care while maintaining professional standards.
