RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
- Implement an Emergent Curriculum that supports children's learning and development.
- Support children's emotional, physical, and behavioural well-being while fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Complete daily attendance records and health and safety checks.
- Collaborate with professionals, including Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists, as needed.
- Support children through transitions within and between classrooms.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
- Participate actively in team meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 2 or Level 3).
- Current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Level B certification.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds.
