Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our friendly dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support overall oral health education. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
• Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment
• Manage patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
• Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to patient care when necessary

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
• Experience working with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software preferred
• Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is advantageous
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse patient populations
• Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology
• Background in dental assisting or related fields is beneficial but not required
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
