We are particularly interested in therapists who are comfortable working within structured clinical service environments that require timely documentation, ongoing communication with third-party systems or referral partners, and adherence to established reporting processes. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting clients navigating work-related stress, trauma, injury recovery, life transitions, and other complex psychosocial concerns, while balancing compassionate clinical care with administrative and professional accountability.
The successful candidate will be adaptable in their approach to service delivery and comfortable providing psychotherapy through both in-person and virtual modalities, depending on client needs and organizational priorities. Experience working within short-term, goal-oriented models of care, interdisciplinary systems, or programs involving coordinated care and formal documentation requirements will be considered a strong asset.
Specific clinical duties include intake, assessment, intervention, evaluation, safety planning, crisis intervention and response, and long-term/short-term psychotherapy as follows:
Intake, Risk Assessment Management
- Facilitate intake process, including responding to questions, ensuring proper documentation and providing a positive and welcoming first point of contact
- Conduct risk/safety assessments for immediate risk of suicide, homicide, self or other harm
- Ensure timely, effective and de-escalating responses to risk and crisis concerns
- Work collaboratively with internal and external Circle of Care teams where required
- Create safety/wellness plans for management of suicidal/self/other harm risk as needed
- Ensure clients are provided with resources, facilitated referrals, and clearly identified next steps for support and safety
- Maintain familiarity with crisis resources/supports
- Facilitate external referrals for clients whose needs require specialized treatment or intensive psychotherapy
Psychotherapy
- Maintain an active caseload and collaborate with clients to identify treatment goals appropriate for long-term and short-term therapy
- Create collaborative, individualized treatment plans recognizing clients? strengths and needs in accordance with professional standards and best practices
- Provide professional counselling appropriate to clients? personal, developmental, psychological, psychiatric, workplace, and trauma-related concerns
- Complete risk assessment and management plans with clients presenting in crisis or with suicide risk
- Provide timely crisis intervention, safety planning, support, documentation, and referrals as required
- Support clients whose needs are outside scope of practice to identify and access additional support services
- Facilitate group therapy and/or workshops as required
- Deliver services through both virtual and in-person modalities based on client and organizational needs

- Complete documentation to ensure effective safety monitoring for clients at risk
