Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient interaction, with previous hospital or pharmacy technician experience preferred. Duties

• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Assist with medication inventory management, including stocking and labeling supplies
• Provide patient care by answering questions about medications and instructions
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness in compliance with legal and safety standards
• Maintain detailed records of medication dispensing and patient interactions
• Support medication administration processes within hospital settings as needed
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Skills

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a hospital pharmacy setting is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in prescription processing
• Compassionate patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is a plus
