Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and supporting the overall operations of our dental team. Duties

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Assist in diagnosing periodontal issues and recommend appropriate treatments
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
• Ensure a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment in compliance with OSHA standards
• Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication strategies
• Assist with orthodontic procedures when necessary and support orthodontic patients' needs
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
• Proven experience working in a dental office setting; experience with Dentrix is preferred
• Knowledge of dental procedures, medical terminology, and infection control protocols
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations
• Experience in pediatric dentistry or orthodontics is desirable but not required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients
