Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated on call Health Care Aides to provide exceptional in-home support to clients in need of assistance with daily activities. This role is vital in promoting independence, comfort, and well-being for individuals across various stages of life and health conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in senior care, assisted living, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities. A strong commitment to caregiving and patient-centered service is essential to succeed in this rewarding position.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
• Monitor and report on clients? health status, changes in condition, or concerns to healthcare providers or family members
• Assist with transfers and positioning for clients with mobility challenges or disabilities
• Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for clients with dementia or experiencing hospice care

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care settings is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided
• Knowledge of patient care techniques including dementia care, senior care, and working with individuals with disabilities
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when assisting clients with mobility needs
• Strong caregiving skills combined with compassion, patience, and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to work independently while following care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; reliability and punctuality are essential
• Certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected for some roles
