About the role
Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Ensure that appropriate administrative procedures are followed. Ensure that quality nursing care is provided to patients. Administer budget. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment . Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures. Assist in the selection, evaluation and professional development of personnel. Set up and co-ordinate nursing services in conjunction with other health services. Supervise registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and other nursing personnel. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers . Support for mature workers: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers . Supports for visible minorities: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
