Purpose:
The Manager, Biomedical Devices is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the company’s biomedical devices rental program which include but are not limited to; Infusion Pumps, Feeding Pumps, Suction Pumps, Nebulizer Pumps and Vacuum Pumps for Negative Wound Pressure Therapy.
This role ensures that all biomedical devices are efficiently dispatched, tracked, retrieved, maintained, cleaned, and available to support urgent clinical needs. The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, inventory control expertise, and experience working with biomedical equipment in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Rental Operations
-
Develop and manage the end-to-end biomedical devices rental process, including dispatching, tracking, retrieval, and maintenance.

Ensure biomedical devices are available and ready for deployment to support urgent clinical needs.

Maintain accurate records of biomedical device status, location, and utilization.
- Inventory & Asset Management
-
Implement and maintain systems to track biomedical device movement, usage, and returns.

Reduce loss of equipment through improved controls, documentation, and accountability.

Conduct regular audits of biomedical device inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
- Logistics & Coordination
-
Coordinate with internal teams, healthcare facilities, logistics partners, and dispatch to ensure timely delivery and pickup of biomedical devices.

Establish clear workflows for dispatching and retrieval, including escalation paths for overdue returns.

Monitor turnaround times and optimize processes to improve availability.
- Process Improvement & Compliance

Design and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for rental operations.

Ensure compliance with biomedical device handling standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Customer & Stakeholder Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for rental escalations, scheduling, and issue resolution.

Communicate clearly with clinical teams, and caregivers regarding returns, and service needs.

Provide reporting and updates to leadership on biomedical devices rental pool performance.
- Repair Cost Management
- Provide recommendations for inventory purchases to Supply Chain.
- Evaluate repair cost management for optimal repair cost vs. replacement strategy.
Qualifications:

2–5 years of experience in biomedical equipment management, healthcare operations, logistics, or inventory control.

Experience with infusion pumps or other biomedical devices is a strong asset.

Familiarity with healthcare environments, terminology, and regulatory requirements.
Skills:
