Seeking Speech Language Pathologist for Nonverbal 4-Year-Old Child

We are currently looking for a compassionate, patient, and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to work with our wonderful 4-year-old daughter, who is autistic and nonverbal. We are hoping to find someone who is passionate about helping children build communication skills in a supportive, engaging, and encouraging environment.

What We?re Looking For:

• Experience working with autistic and/or nonverbal children
• Knowledge of AAC devices, PECS, or alternative communication methods is an asset
• Kind, playful, and patient personality
• Ability to create individualized and engaging therapy sessions
• Strong communication with parents and caregivers
• Licensed/certified Speech Language Pathologist in British Columbia

Details:

• Location: Coquitlam, BC and (Burnaby starting September)
• Flexible schedule preferred
• In-home sessions preferred, but open to clinic-based services
• Competitive pay based on experience
