Family Physician – Arbutus Medical Clinic, Sechelt BC
A supportive, community-based practice on the beautiful Sunshine Coast
Enjoy Summer in a close-knit coastal community, surrounded by ocean views, world-class hiking and biking trails, and fresh air. Arbutus Medical Clinic is a physician-owned and operated clinic in Sechelt, BC. It’s the kind of place where you’re on first-name basis with your local café owner, colleagues have your back, and life outside the clinic is every bit as rewarding as your work inside it.
We’re looking for a Family Physician who values connection, collaboration, and quality of care to cover an established, friendly patient panel. Although six months cover is ideal, the duration can be negotiated for part-coverage.

Modern hospital nearby: Sechelt Hospital is fully equipped with specialists in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Anaesthesia (provided by Family Practice Anaesthesiologists).
Friendly and cozy atmosphere: Arbutus Clinic is known for its warm, small-clinic feel. You’ll feel right at home taking sun breaks on the patio and picking fruit at lunchtime from the cherry and plum trees in the private garden.
Successful applicants will also be entitled to a share of the bonus LFP payments. Proportion can be negotiated but will be in line with Doctor's of BC recommendations for locum cover.
