MAKING AN IMPACT

Under the direction of the Director, Insights and Pipeline Management, the Analyst supports the delivery of fundraising analytics, and pipeline management services for the Corporate Partnerships team. This role supports organizational fundraising by designing and maintaining data reporting, optimizing fundraiser portfolios, and ensuring the integrity and strategic use of prospect data.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  1. Data Analysis
  • Use Salesforce and analytics/visualization tools to generate insights that support strategic, data‑informed fundraising selection.
  • Retrieve, analyze, and interpret data to support performance management of prospect pools, pipelines, portfolios, forecasting, and fundraiser activity.
  • Act as the Corporate team’s lead representative in DAS project discussions.
  • Serve as the Salesforce subject‑matter expert for the Corporate Giving team, including managing updates, creating and editing reports, supporting process changes, and building campaigns.
  • Manage the time‑sensitive Gifts of Securities (GOS) process in accordance with CCS Gift Acceptance Policy, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  1. Prospect Development and Reporting
  • Implement prospect development strategies and data integrity initiatives; design and produce regular and ad‑hoc audit reports to ensure accuracy of ratings, stages, assignments, proposals, and prospect groups.
  • The Analyst keeps up to date on market trends and best practices to ensure continual service improvements.
  • Create efficiencies by streamlining tools, processes, and reports based on feedback from colleagues and observance of data input results. Identify opportunities to leverage technology to facilitate information delivery and work alongside the DAS team to enact updates.
  • Maintain and update the Business Procedures and Policies document to reinforce consistency in data and analytics practices that can also serve as a reference guide for fundraisers and securing required approvals.
  1. Support fundraiser pipeline management
  • Provide recommendations to fundraising staff on how to interpret, comprehend, and leverage data visualization and predictive data model scores for the benefit of prospect discovery and pipeline management.
  • Enable quarterly pipeline review meetings with fundraisers to review portfolios to ensure fundraising activities are on track and moving through the solicitation cycle. Initiate and drive regular meetings with fundraisers to review pipelines to ensure data cleanliness prior to quarterly reviews.
  • Monitor portfolio composition and performance; provide recommendations on portfolio size, stage distribution, moves management, fundraising plans, and prospect stagnation or sunsetting.
  • Design and contribute toward training sessions on new reports and tools to fundraisers to ensure that KPIs and financial goals are achieved and data competency is maintained. Utilize strong data analysis and data presentation skills to present information clearly to staff at different levels of the department.
  • Drive corporate record clean‑up initiatives to strengthen authority-driven linkages and eliminate duplicate records across industry sectors.
  • Conduct lead‑generation and prospecting activities to refresh the corporate donor pool and identify new or existing prospects within the database.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience retrieving, interpreting, and synthesizing complex datasets using Salesforce and analytics/visualization tools to support evidence‑based decision‑making.
  • Hands‑on experience creating and modifying reports, managing data updates, supporting process changes, and serving as a subject matter expert for business users.
  • Experience working with technical teams (e.g., data/analytics) and frontline fundraisers to translate business needs into actionable insights, tools, and process improvements.
  • Experience implementing data‑integrity initiatives, conducting portfolio/pipeline reviews, and supporting prospect management strategies in a fundraising or CRM‑driven environment.
  • Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, diagnose issues in pipelines or portfolios, and recommend clear, actionable solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences and guide fundraisers in applying insights.
  • Commitment to accuracy, consistency, and governance in data entry, reporting, and documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with fundraisers, leadership, and technical teams, fostering trust and shared ownership of data‑driven practices.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is highly preferred, with French being an asset due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions.
  • Others may apply
