Rate of Pay: $200,000 annually + 8% pay at risk

Following a vacancy created by a promotional opportunity, we need a Vice President Patient Services and CNE to join our dedicated and inspired team!
The Vice President Patient Services and CNE will develop and implement a clear vision through exemplary leadership in order to promote a collaborative and engaged culture providing an excellent patient experience.
You will Elevate Quality by promoting and supporting work through our Quality Improvement Plan with a specific focus on improving patient experience and wait times. You will also join us in the midst of preparation for Accreditation in Spring 2027 and your leadership and work will ensure that we are not only ready but excel during our onsite visit.
This role is supported by an Administrative Assistant and has two Patient Services Directors (one newly established and under recruitment) to support the important work of this role. Key deliverables in the upcoming year will include informing Hospital Development work as we move towards our Stage 2 Submission, introduction and development of a Professional Practice Model and continued strength and engagement with the Patient and Family Advisory Committee and Ontario Health Team.

As The Successful Applicant You Will Be Responsible For
Building a collaborative environment built on our value of support each other looking for opportunities for solutions and engagement across portfolios and teams Drive leadership and progress based on enhancing patient experience and quality care while balancing financial responsibility and ensuring strong team CGMH engagement Leading our preparation for Hospital Accreditation in Spring 2027 Acting as a key contributor on Hospital Development and advising on program flows, patient experience and design Developing a Clinical Services Plan in partnership with Professional Staff leadership as we seek to create capacity both at our current site and in our future hospital Maintaining and building upon the success of our current Patient and Family Advisory Committee including further engagement with the this committee and Patient and Family Advisors across the Hospital Support and engagement for direct reports as well as all leaders within the organization supporting delivery on our annual operating plan and our leadership core responsibilities
You will also represent and support CGMH’s mission through the following initiatives:
Assume membership on CGMH’s Board of Directors Co-Chair the Patient and Family Advisory Committee Launch and Chair CGMH’s Ethics Committee Represent CGMH from a Clinical perspective at the Regional CARE4 Committee focused on our shared electronic health record of Meditech Represent CGMH at the Southern Georgian Bay Ontario Health Team Represent CGMH and collaborate with our Medical Advisory Committee and Professional Staff Association Represent CGMH at the Hospital Association Committee in partnership with ONA and leadership from People Services
What You’ll Bring
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Current registration and member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Minimum of 10 years of progressive senior healthcare leadership Extensive clinical expertise with experiencing leading a variety of teams Demonstrated success leading change initiatives across the Hospital as well as with community partners
Preferred
Masters’ degree in relevant field of study Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation Previous experience in a CNE role Experience with Hospital Development or large scale capital projects preferred Experience effectively interacting and supporting Board of Directors work
