Your Opportunity:
Description:
As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will assess patients (clients, resident), develop and implement respiratory therapy care plans and monitor their progress. You will be responsible for various diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and interventions. You will collaborate with various clinical teams and groups to enhance clinical outcomes. You will provide training and assist health care providers in the use and care of respiratory equipment as well as educate patients and their families regarding diseases, medications, equipment and treatments.
Classification: Resp Therapist I Union: HSAA Facility PROF/TECH Unit and Program: Emergency Department Primary Location: Westview Health Centre Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.42 Posting End Date: 31-AUG-2026 Temporary Employee Class: Temp P/T Benefits Date Available: 10-SEP-2026 Temporary End Date: 03-MAY-2027 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 12 Shifts per cycle: 24 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $41.95 Maximum Salary: $53.91 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable
Required Qualifications:
Active or eligible registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CRTA).
