About the role

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the quality of life for diverse patient populations. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assess individual needs, develop personalized care plans, and deliver expert physiotherapy services across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community settings. Your expertise will help patients regain independence and achieve their health goals through compassionate care and evidence-based practices.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical limitations and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement a variety of physiotherapy techniques, including trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and sports rehabilitation.
  • Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and home care routines to support ongoing recovery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings.
  • Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care plans, progress notes, and treatment records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Provide guidance on physiology and anatomy to patients for better understanding of their conditions and recovery process.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home & community care environments.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques.
  • Experience with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
  • Familiarity with discharge planning processes and developing effective care plans for diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced hospital or clinic settings.

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
