Role Description The Kinesiologist role at Cowichan Active Rehabilitation is a full-time, on-site position based in Duncan, BC. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing clients’ physical function, designing individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs, and guiding clients through safe, effective movement-based interventions. The Kinesiologist will monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document clinical findings and outcomes. The role involves working collaboratively with other health professionals, educating clients on injury prevention and self-management, and promoting active lifestyles that support long-term health. The Kinesiologist is expected to maintain professional standards, uphold confidentiality, and contribute to a positive, inclusive clinic environment. Case load will consist of ICBC, Canada Life, Private paying and semi-private group classes. We would love to hire an eager new grad. Compensation New Kinesiologists start at a 40% fee split with room to grow given consistency and positive performance. Qualifications

Strong foundation in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation, with the ability to assess movement, design exercise programs, and support functional recovery. Knowledge of Physical Therapy principles and Medicine-related concepts relevant to musculoskeletal health, injury management, and chronic condition support. Skills in Prevention, including injury risk assessment, ergonomic education, and development of proactive exercise and wellness strategies. Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or a related field; registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate provincial professional association is preferred Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team, demonstrating sound judgment, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity. Proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and using basic computer and scheduling systems
